Victims of Crime COVID-19 Funding
Introduction
The Missouri Department of Public Safety is pleased to announce the funding opportunity for the FFY 2020 Victims of Crime COVID-19 Funding. This state administered, but federally funded program, is made available through the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).
Program Description
FFY 2020 Victims of Crime COVID-19 Funding is being made available to domestic violence service agencies, child advocacy centers, law enforcement, and other service providers that were adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible entities must demonstrate the adverse impact that COVID-19 had on service provision in their application.
Eligible Applicants
Agencies providing services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse are eligible to apply for the FFY 2020 Victims of Crime COVID-19 Funding and may include:
- Domestic Violence Service Providers, including shelters
- Sexual Assault Service Providers
- Child Advocacy Centers and/or Child Abuse Counseling for all victims of crime
- Court Appointed Special Advocate Agencies (CASA)
- Law Enforcement
