Statement on Ferguson by Colonel Ron Replogle
Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, today released the following statement concerning the situation in the City of Ferguson, Missouri:
"I was in Ferguson Saturday evening, walking and talking with the people who were gathered there," said Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. "I remained there until the early hours of Sunday morning, after the curfew was in place. Except for the challenges posed by a very few individuals, I appreciate the support and cooperation of all the people who honored the curfew peacefully throughout the night. I want to thank the many local leaders and citizens of the community who continue to cooperate with law enforcement.”
