Comments: Fricke, 37, was southbound on Highway 47 just outside of Hawk Point when his car slipped off the right side of the road about 10:10 a.m., Fricke overcorrected, crossed the highway and hit a utility pole on the left side of the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Fricke worked part-time as the small Lincoln County town's police chief. His full-time job was working for the Warren County Sheriff's Department. He joined the Warren County Sheriff's Department in 2005-same year he became Hawk Point Chief
