John R. Justice Grant
NOTE: Pursuant to a June 26, 2017 letter from Gov. Eric Greitens, the designation of State Administering Agency for the JRJ Program changed from the Missouri Department of Public Safety to the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services. The Missouri Department of Public Safety will work through the close of the FY2016 JRJ Program; the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services will begin work with the FY2017 JRJ Program. Because of this change and unrelated adjustments by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (the federal awarding agency), the 2017 JRJ Solicitation for local applications has not yet been released.
For further information or updates, please contact the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services at (573) 751-0619.

The John R. Justice (JRJ) Program provides loan repayment assistance for state and federal public defenders and state prosecutors who agree to remain employed as public defenders and prosecutors for at least three years. The JRJ Program was created to encourage qualified attorneys to choose careers as prosecutors and public defenders and to continue in that service.
